In fall 2006, Camp Downer embarked on one of it's largest projects in years; the construction of a new pool. The old pool facility was suffering from leaks and was exceedingly difficult to maintain. The pool location wasn't ideal and, due to surrounding trees, could reach quite cool temperatures late in the season.
The board did some research, found a contractor and work was begun.
